The Challenge:

Vignetic is looking for a Instructional Design and Training Manager who will be responsible for the development, maintenance of all training curriculums and delivery of materials to all Service Division employees. The position works to enhance divisional performance by identifying problems/ opportunities; leveraging performance results and strategic business direction; and implementing training programs to correct or enhance employee and organizational performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sustainable Training and Performance Management Model for claims and call center personnel including but not limited to training class assessments; the analysis of performance data; transition period; and employee certifications and feedback.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive and sustainable Training Delivery Model to support internal and external operations.
  • Oversee the general operational oversight of knowledge management (KM) resources and KM initiatives – Consult with divisional Operations leadership and Sales to develop training strategies that support the Operational and Sales plans and coordinate requests for special training as need arises.
  • Lead the process of ensuring external vendors develop/ implement training strategies that enhance performance.
  • Direct the proactive development of new training programs and the revision of existing training programs to keep up with numerous organizational,        operational and health care landscape changes.
  • Analyze trend reporting to assess future needs and develop gap training materials.
  • Collaborate with the operational groups to develop, document, and standardize standard procedures and workflows to support achievement of operational quality.
  • Oversee departmental administration expenses, including salary and non-salary costs, within established budgetary constraints.
  • Leverage knowledge, experience, data, and tools to forecast, prepare for and respond to changes in business that will impact existing and future needs.
  • Leverage existing technology by identifying opportunities to systematize manual processes and interventions.
  • Identify and present opportunities to incorporate new technology into processes and flows. Ensure that documentation and training follows.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant work experience required.
  • Requires a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Requires 5 years of experience in training and instructional design.
  • Requires broad-based experience with a minimum of 5 years in managed healthcare or related industry.
  • Successful track record managing training and instructional design functions with process improvement.
  • Implementation required.
  • Call Center and/or Claims Management experience preferred.
  • Experience with specialty health plan products/groups helpful.
  • Travel Required Must be willing to travel 20% both Domestically and Internationally.
