The Challenge:
Vignetic is looking for a Lead, Lease Servicing Specialist who will perform the highest level of servicing activities for lease transactions.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Works in a team environment and collaborates with specialists, asset management, credit, accounts payable and tax to ensure that lease origination commitments are fulfilled, and to facilitate continuous process improvement.
- Responsible for service now case prioritization, quality assurance, insurance, titling, and disposition.
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves issues, answers questions, and proactively identifies challenges and risks to support quality control.
- Provides periodic status to leadership and team members.
- Assists management with mentoring, training, and continuous improvement activities.
- Serves as a resource and subject matter expert (SME) for lower-level Specialists.
- Provides back-up for management, assists in training, and facilitates cross-team workflows.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Concentrates efforts on the management and servicing of structured transaction.
- Completes various activities to meet internal, partner and customer commitments as well as quality goals and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Performs appropriate due diligence according to Farm Credit Leasing (FCL) policies and prepares vendor payment requests within authority limits.
- Leads projects requiring planning, execution, testing, and status updates to various levels of the organization.
- Assists management and provides backup in workflow production leadership, training, mentoring and continuous improvement activities.
- Serves as a subject Matter Expert in multiple functional areas.
- Identifies, analyzes, addresses, and resolves questions, risks, challenges, and issues.
- Assists management with development and implementation of new processes and procedures.
- Provides back-up for other team members and performs structured closing activities in support of workload leveling.
- Performs quality assurance functions. Works with team to ensure that high quality standards are achieved.
- Mentors team on opportunities for quality improvement.
- Actively engages with team contributing to fulfillment of overall partner and customer origination commitments and issue resolution.
- Leads or participates in relationship status calls and participates in on-site visits to assigned accounts to build relationships and improve service.
- Works closely with relationship managers and team members to provide superior customer service.
- Positive role model, actively influences and encourages development of others.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Five (5) or more years of experience, preferably in the leasing industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or relevant discipline preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Farm Credit System preferred.
- Strong knowledge of leasing industry, real property documentation, tax and closing requirements.
- Demonstrated proficiency in all servicing relationships.
- Knowledge of relevant software applications, such as Tvalue, CRM, and Rapport.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level associates.
- Demonstrated professionalism, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to solve problems and identify when to escalate issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and schedule regular work and special projects in a demanding transactional environment with limited oversight.
- Excellent customer service and detail orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of management, staff, government agencies and customers.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly, and professionally and always maintain composure.
