The Challenge:
Our client is seeking an applicant who will assist in all areas of global organization by integrating legal aspects into business considerations. The main part of the job will be reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements within clinical operations and manufacturing. The applicant will work project-based and closely together with devoted colleagues in the organization and with external collaboration partners, vendors and CROs, with the overall goal of developing new and innovative medicines for patients.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Legal project responsibility for clinical projects to ensure legal review of relevant contracts including service agreements, manufacturing agreements, collaboration agreements, consultancy agreements and clinical trial agreements
- Review of other clinical trial related documents including informed consent forms, letters of authorization etc.
- Handling of subject claims
- Ad hoc legal support to the organization
Essential skills and requirements:
- jur. or Cand.merc.(Jur.) (for DK applicants) or JD or LL.M (for US applicants) with a minimum of 8 years of work experience from the life science industry or a contract research organization
- Experience from a law firm servicing life science client is a preference but not a requirement
- Experience in working with data privacy (including the GDPR)
- Experience in working with IP rights in particular patents rights
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating relevant agreements
- Commercially minded and solution-oriented with an ability to analyze legal situations, understand the facts and the client’s business position and efficiently assimilate information from a variety of sources
- Proven ability to work collaboratively on a cross functional teams
- Experience working in an international environment
- Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiating skills
